"Two Bit"
Campaign

Drop off your quarters at any SE Michigan Fifth Third Bank for the Northville Community Foundation - Maybury Farm
Maintaining Maybury Farm has many, many
expenses and in an effort to help with the bills and yet
offer everyone the opportunity to help we began the "Give
Two Bits for Maybury Farm" campaign. We want to
collect as many quarters as possible from our friends in
southeast Michigan.
Our friends at Fifth Third Bank thought that was a pretty
good idea and offered all of their southeast locations as drop off points for
your quarters.
What do you need to do? Just go into your nearest
Fifth Third Bank and say that you want to donate to the
Northville Community Foundation - Maybury Farm. They have
the account all set up and are waiting for you to stop in.
What will the money be used for? Animals, feed,
operations, animal care, building upkeep and repair,
building additional shelters for the animals, restrooms for
our guests, and the list goes on and on.
On September 10, 2010, Ford Volunteers came out to Maybury Farm to build a
play structure.

Beginning in the Spring and running through the summer we
offer "Beautification" opportunities at the Farm. They
include:
- Paver Stones - If you have visited Maybury Farm you
have noticed the beautiful patio that was built for us
by Global Gardens. The pavers used were used
specifically so people could donate to the farm by
purchasing a paver. Pavers come in two sizes;
small 6'x 8' (donation - $250 and have a 2 line 15
character limit per line) and 12?x12? (donation $350 and
have a 3 line 20 character limit per line). These
pavers make wonderful birthday, anniversary, memorial,
or just-because gifts.
- Picnic Tables - As Maybury Farm increases in
its programming we have more and more need for picnic
tables. If you would like to sponsor a picnic table for
a $1,500 donation a plaque will be placed on the table
with your desired inscription (limited to 12 characters
and spaces 3 lines).
- Buy A Board - Maybury Farm is continually in need of
lumber. It is used to replace boards, build pastures,
build lean-to's, repair pens, repair wagons, rebuild
wagons, etc. We would also like to add an addition to
our Welcome Center. Your donation of $250 for
boards will greatly help with all of the above items.
Your family name will also be placed on a plaque that
will hang permanently at Maybury Farm. A great GIFT
idea!
- Flowers - Donations of $50 will be used for the
planting of flowers at the entrance of Maybury Farm and
on the patio.
