Maple Syrup Family Hayride & Demonstrations
Due to popular demand, tours are being extended an extra 2 weekends!

Looking for something fun to do over Spring Break? Want to get outside after a long, cold winter? Bring the family to Maybury Farm for a Maple Syrup Tour! Our tours have been extended for two extra weekends! Maybury Farm Maple Syrup Tours will be held at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm on Saturday, March 30, Saturday, April 6, Sunday, April 7 and Sunday, April 14. (There will be no demonstrations on Saturday April 13.)  There is no need to pre-register. For tours during the week, please leave your name and daytime phone number

Bring the family to Maybury Farm for a Maple Syrup Tour & visit our newest baby, Brownie, the first llama born at Maybury Farm.

Take a hayride to the Sugarbush, tap the trees, see the sap drip into the buckets, return the sap back to the evaporator and watch how maple syrup is made. Your family will not only see all of the steps in producing maple syrup but they will also take part in the process.

Does ‘tapping’ the tree hurt it? How much sap do you need to make 1 gallon of syrup? What happens to the diameter of a tree once it is tapped? These and more questions will be answered on this very interesting TOUR!

Maple syrup and maple syrup products are available for purchase in Maybury Farm's General Store in the Welcome Center. Be sure to pick up your FREE Maple Syrup Recipes!

Tour times will be held on the hour beginning promptly at 1p.m, 2p.m. and 3p.m.
