Do
you know what a carboy is? Or spiles? If not,
bring the family to Maybury Farm for our Maple Syrup Tours!
Hey Mom, What Are We Going to do This Weekend?
Sound familiar? Here is the answer! Bring the family to
Maybury Farm for a Maple Syrup Tour. Take a hayride to
the Maple tree grove, tap the trees, bring sap back to
evaporator and watch how maple syrup is made. Your family
will not only see all of the steps in producing maple syrup
but they will also take part in the process.
Maple Syrup Tours for families are held each Saturday and
Sunday through April 18 (Closed Easter Weekend). Tours are
conducted at 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm. We
advise wearing boots and warm clothing. Tours are
weather dependent. Tours cannot be conducted in the
rain. Hundreds of families took part in this
experience last year and absolutely loved it.
Admission is $5 per person, 2 and under free.
