"Let's Get Out and
Garden" Clinics
Ever wonder what type of flower you should plant? What
should be in your vegetable garden? Why composting flowers
and vegetables make them grow so well? What makes up a good
compost pile and why every home should have one? All of this
and more will be answered at Maybury Farm’s “Let’s Get Out
and Garden" clinics held on Saturday and Sunday, May 15 and
16.
Saturday May 15

Sunday, May 16

- 2:45pm - "Professional's Top 15 Perrenials"
Plus buy a "feed ticket" help feed our animals and get a
chance to win Perennial, Annuals and gardening books. All proceeds will be used to help feed our animals.
Don’t forget the kids! Mr. Green Jeans will be on hand with
seeds for the kids. It is important that children
learn about planting and composting while they are young.
And remember to visit our new baby animals. The Farm
is open for tours and hayrides are available at 12:00pm,
1:00pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm.
Maybury Farm is located at 50165 Eight Mile 1 ¾ miles west
of Beck Road – ½ mile past the state park. Admission is $5
per person and includes the farm visit.
