Baby GoatsMeet the Babies at Maybury Farm

Babies are arriving at the Farm. We have had two sets of twins so far and our chicks are growing out of their baby days. We are expecting lambs any day now and piglets in June. Come on out to the Farm and visit our babies.

Celebrate our fun-filled weekend at Maybury Farm as we kick off Farm Days. Festivities begin on Saturday, April 24 at 11:00am until 4:00pm and continue on Sunday, April 25 from 11:00am until 4:00pm. Kids, moms, dads, grandmas and grandpas will all find something they enjoy. Antique tractors, country music band, sheep shearing (on Saturday), spinners, visiting all the new baby animals, dancers, face painting, and much more- there is truly something for everyone.

Antique Tractors are from the Hudson Mills Old Power Club and Tri-County 2 Cylinder Club. These great antique tractors including gas engines, tractors and steam engines will intrigue everyone as they clear the fields for planting.

Sheep Shearing will also take place on Saturday beginning at 1:30p.m. Watch as the sheep and llamas shed their winter coats in preparation for summer.

Michigan Handspinners Guild will demonstrate the art of spinning the sheared wool to make yarn. The spinning wheel has been used since the Middle Ages to help increase the output of wool and continues to be popular today.

Battley Band will serve up the ‘down home tunes". They play a wide variety of music from country to bluegrass.

Center Stage Dance Company will delight you with a dance performance that is truly breathtaking. They will perform from 12:30pm until 1:30pm each day. These talented dancers will enchant you as you watch with delight the grace and beauty of their dance. Center Stage Dance Company will perform a variety of styles from ballet to jazz.
